Alumni Spotlight
Wil Hogue
Managing Partner, ARID Partners
Founder and Managing Partner of ARID Partners. Former Director of Industrial Development at Greystar. AZ MRED Alumni Association Board Member.
The AZ MRED Alumni Association recently spotlighted Wil Hogue, Managing Partner of ARID Partners, recognizing his contributions to Arizona industrial real estate and his ongoing service to the ASU community.
Wil founded ARID Partners to address a specific and underserved need in the market: helping long-tenured industrial property owners retire from active management, defer capital gains, and transition their assets into long-term passive income. ARID’s 721 Exchange Fund program provides a tax-efficient path forward while preserving cash flow and protecting asset value for contributors and their heirs.
Track Record in Industrial Development
Before founding ARID, Wil served as Director of Industrial Development at Greystar, one of the largest real estate investment and management firms in the world. In that role he oversaw a portfolio of Class A industrial projects across the Southwest.
Projects under his oversight included Gateway Grand and Caliber at Peoria Place, two significant industrial developments in the Phoenix metropolitan area.
What ARID Partners Does
- Succession-focused 721 Exchange transactions for long-term industrial property owners
- Owner-user build-to-suit development for growing businesses
- Analytics-driven acquisition and underwriting across Arizona industrial markets
- A cash-flow-first investment philosophy focused on asset preservation and income generation
Service to the ASU Community
Wil continues to contribute to the ASU real estate community through his service on the AZ MRED Alumni Association Board, supporting fellow alumni and the next generation of Arizona real estate professionals.
Long-term industrial property owners deserve a better path forward.
ARID Partners works with owners across Arizona who want to step back from active management without stepping away from the asset. If you want to understand what a partnership structure could look like for your situation, we are happy to have that conversation.
